I was born in Izmir in 1990. I began playing basketball at the age of seven and continued for about 15 years, including time in professional leagues. I've been coaching and playing basketball since I was 17 years old. That is why, at the age of 17, I began my coaching carrier.

Meanwhile, after graduating from High School in 2012, I studied at Ege University's School of Physical Education and Sports, Coaching Education Department (Basketball Branch). During this time, I continued to play basketball and coach.

After finishing my undergraduate studies, I began my master's program at Dokuz Eylul University's Institute of Health Sciences. In addition to my postgraduate studies, I completed the Pedagogical Formation program at Aydn Adnan Menderes University, which allowed me to teach physical education.

During these years, I continued to coach, including in professional leagues, while still attempting to complete my academic studies.

In 2016, I finished my master's degree and began my doctoral studies in the same department. During my Ph.D., I conducted studies on the brain and exercise, and I finished my education in 2022. In addition, I've been a research assistant at Dokuz Eylul University's Faculty of Sport Sciences since 2017.
